About the Moderator
Amy Brenneman
Amy Brenneman is an actor, producer, writer, and activist whose work spans television, film, theater, and social justice. A Harvard graduate with a degree in Comparative Religion, she was a founding member of the Cornerstone Theater Company and has appeared on stages from Yale Rep to Playwrights Horizons. She created and starred in Judging Amy, inspired by her mother’s judicial work, and has appeared in NYPD Blue, Private Practice, The Leftovers, and The Old Man. A dedicated advocate for reproductive rights and inclusive education, Amy also hosts the podcast The Challengers, and lives in Los Angeles and West Tisbury, MA, with her husband Brad Silberling and their two children.
