Edward Fishman is an international relations scholar, former State Department diplomat, and New York Times bestselling author of Chokepoints: How the Global Economy Became a Weapon of War. Drawing on extensive research, personal experience and interviews with key players, Chokepoints offers a behind-the-scenes account of one of the most pivotal geopolitical shifts of our time. Fishman is currently a Senior Research Scholar at the Center on Global Energy Policy and an Adjunct Professor of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University.
