About the Moderator

Lawrence O'Donnell is the host of The Last Word on MSNBC and an Emmy Award–winning writer and producer for The West Wing. A former senior Senate advisor, he is also the author of Deadly Force and a frequent contributor to major national publications including The New York Times, Washington Post, and Los Angeles Times. Born in Boston, O'Donnell graduated from Harvard College.
