About the Moderator

G. Gabrielle (“Gabi)” Starr is the president of Pomona College and a leading advocate for expanding college access and reimagining the future of higher education. A Guggenheim Fellow and author of three books, she combines humanities and neuroscience in her research on how the brain responds to art, and serves on boards including the J. Paul Getty Trust and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
