
Getting to the Grounds of the Chilmark Community Center

BEST OPTION: Take the FREE BUS
The Vineyard Transit Authority is running FREE buses throughout the summer. Three different bus routes have stops in front of the Chilmark Community Center.
Buses are air conditioned, comfortable, and clean.
From Chilmark:
The #12 Bus runs from the Tabor House Lot to Mememsha to the CCC. It makes this loop every 30 minutes.
From West Tisbury/ Chilmark/ Aquinnah:
The #5 Bus runs from the West Tisbury Town Hall up South Road to the CCC and from the Aquinnah Lighthouse down to the CCC. You can flag it down anywhere along the route.
The #4 Bus runs from the West Tisbury Town Hall up North Road to the CCC You can flag it down anywhere along the route.
From Vineyard Haven (Ferry Terminal):
The #3 Bus starts at the Steamship Authority Terminal in Vineyard Haven and drops you right at the CCC. It stops first at the West Tisbury Town Hall, turns into the #5 Bus and continues on to the CCC.
From Edgartown:
The #6 Bus starts at Church Street in Edgartown and ends at the West Tisbury Town Hall. There you can quickly transfer to the #5 Bus and continue on your way to the CCC.

Carpool or Ride your Bike
We appreciate your help in reducing the number of cars at the CCC. Each bike ride and carpool makes room for those who don’t have another option. Thank you for your help!

Drive and Park
Parking is limited. Please plan accordingly.
Main Lot: Pony Field on Menemsha Cross Road across from the Chilmark Church. We will have signage directing you to the lot.
There will be a shuttle available to and from the CCC throughout the day for those who prefer not to walk. (~0.2 mi)
Things to know:
The Chilmark Community Center, Chilmark School, and Bank have been designated for handicapped drivers and authors. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our young staff and volunteers as they direct you to the appropriate lot.
Please note that the Chilmark Library, Chilmark Post Office, Beach Sticker Office, and many Chilmark businesses will be open throughout the festival. Please respect our neighbors and kindly cooperate with our staff and volunteers as they direct you to the appropriate lot.
